Yep, in a series motor you get speed three ways - motor, more voltage, and drive ratio. The tires, aka drive ratio, will get you a decent amount of speed if your current set up can push them. When I had my stock cart at 36v it ran 12-13mph and when the tires went on measured at 22" it would push it around 14-15mph on flat pavement. Whatever the percentage of tire diameter increase will translate to the same percentage increase in speed as long as the motor can handle it, but you will lose a lot of torque on hills. You might get in the 15mph range depending on what your getting now.

Yea, I'm seeing around 14 on flat and feeling the major loss of torque on even mild hills within the neighborhood with 23in tires that came on it when I got it. I discovered 3 of the batteries are weak as well. So I'm saving the fund for a new 6 pack and wiring upgrade, then I guess I have to get motor and controller as a package. That sound about right?
