Default 2016 precedent- Test controller

I have a 2016 club car precedent. All batteries are fully charged and I have replaced the solenoid. The cart continues to jump 1” when pedal is pressed.

Is there a way to check if the controller is bad? Or maybe test the motor it self?

Would like some ideas before I just order a new controller and it may not be the problem.

Thanks so much.

to BGW

With the rear of the cart up in the air, you can make sure that the controller is getting pack voltage at the B+ and B- posts with the solenoid engaged

Your issue may be with your MCOR (throttle device). With the cart off, pump the go pedal roughly 30 times, then try to drive and see if things change.

So I jacked the rear wheels in the air and they spin freely when it’s up. Tried the pedal 30 times as well.

Any other suggestions

What is your pack voltage, and how old are the batts?

It sounds like it's running through the precharge resistor. Is the solenoid pulling in?

The solenoid is clicking when I engage the pedal. Is there a way to test the resistor? Or is in easier to just replace it?

Does the resistor get hot when it tries to run?
