Broken bolts on F1 and A1 on motor how to remove??
I’ve got 2 broken bolts looks like someone cover them together how do I. Remove them looks like copper solder holding the bolts to the wires ? Thanks in advance

F1 is the field terminal. You can get a new stud for that but the field wire has to be Brazed on. Solder may not hold in the long run. Those studs are not plain steel, even though they can appear to be rusty.
A1 is the brush set, and it's best to replace the brushes if that broke. I have seen where people will cut a stud about 2" length and pinch the brush wires and solder them between two nuts, then grind the end and the nut down to make it a bit thinner, but usually that doesn't transfer enough current to hold up in the long run. |
