Default Best Options for Speed Upgrade on '10 Precedent Excel

There is obviously a wealth of knowledge about speed upgrades on here but what is the best option to get the cart going around or above the 25mph mark with no huge loss in torque? (is this possible?) Note: I live in a very hilly area. And I plan on getting (at least) a 3" lift and bigger tires.

I have a 2010 Excel Version Precedent (PH) that is completely stock (the roll away feature is super annoying). I am guessing a magnet swap won't help me?

I do understand there are a few threads on here but rarely does the thread starter follow up with how the finished project did and how much money they spent.

Should I just upgrade everything: 500amp Alltrax Controller, HD Solenoid, and New Motor? If so, where is the best place to purchase this?

Thanks in advance!!!

Aside from the obvious like 500 amp Alltrax Controller, HD Solenoid, and New Motor there is one more option to consider. The biggest speed and torque upgrade I ever did was Lithium Batteries. I went with 7 Leaf Cells for 60Ah and 58 volts. With the reduction in weight and increased voltage I can now go faster up the steepest hill in my neighbor than I used to do on flat land. Top speed is in excess of 25 mph. Depending on your skill level you can either assemble your own pack with leaf batteries or go with Roypow drop in batteries or Allied Lithium batteries.

Since you are in a hilly area, an AC conversion might be the best choice for you. Look here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/u...ages-precedent at all the options you can choose between AC and DC systems.

Dang 1800 bucks for parts on the cheapest AC conversion kit. What about the Plum Quick idea??

Or how about just a controller?

No it had everything else you mentioned. The 500 amp Alltrax Controller, HD Solenoid, and New Motor plus a 4" lift. You also need disc brakes to stop it. It's just that the Lithium made the biggest jump at one time. The other stuff just made a couple of miles difference at a time. It ain't cheap but if you do it one step at a time you'll get there. I've been working on mine for about 5 years now.

That is a great starting point. XCT300 if you remain stock, XCT500 if you will eventually go wild. Then you can add on as you like and the 500 can be adjusted to met your needs. There were DC kits there too.

Will the XCT300 controller get rid of the regen braking?

No but you will be able to adjust it to zero regen.
