Default '08 CC Precedent with dead spot?

We recently purchased this used & installed 4 brand new 12v Trojan batteries. Just got it to our campground & started using it. After coasting, it seems to hit a dead spot & won't accelerate when the pedal is depressed. I found that I have to stomp on the pedal to get it going again. It seems to be getting worse. This is our first cart. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?
Thanks!

Sounds like a failing potentiometer in your MCOR.

Try pumping the pedal 25-30 times and if it is better, replace the MCOR. Get one here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

NoleFan4Ever, thank you! Based on other posts that I've read here, that's what I was leaning towards.
Thanks again!

The kit arrived today & took about 1/2 hour to install. It would have been less if the screwdriver bit hadn't fallen through the hole & to the ground. Working on pea gravel was so good to my knees as I was getting the bit back. Of course it had landed in the exact middle. Piece of cake! Thank you for the advice [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
