Wow! I had no idea that the thread would come back up. For an update, the JB Weld is holding fine, after over a year of filling the holes. The paint came out decent, I just wish I would've used an HVLP gun instead of the old gun. There's a little more orange peel than I wanted, and I just don't have time to polish it out. It still looks pretty good all things considered. It's got a couple of scratches thanks to my boys playing too close to the cart, and some off road adventures. Now my wife is on the custom airbrushed body kick. One of our friends bought a custom painted body for his club car from a local guy, and it looks really nice. Graphics and some designs that look good, and I'm not too good at. I'll probably do that in a few years when I step up to a big block.

This thread really helped me, and it took a while to find it. But I am trying to find existing threads to answer my questions, instead of starting new ones and boring the long time members with the same old questions.

I got my G16A on Saturday, and thanks to this thread, it is now pretty much all apart. I would have ruined some stuff trying to get it all apart without this thread.

alright, alright, I promise I'll get some pictures up. I have to get my wife to help me, because I'm not too tech savvy. My next day off, which is in about 2 weeks, I'll pull the cart out and take some updated shots.

My questions are, does anyone have the steps for body removal? I imagine that the service manual has it laid out, but of course I don't have a manual yet. The front section of the body doesn't seem too hard. The rear section appears more involved. How is the F/R handle removed so paint can be sprayed there? I'm also having some problems finding all of the fasteners that hold the body on. Does the plastic tray or well on the back of the cart need to be removed to expose more fasteners? What about the plastic fender covers that state "No Step" on them? Can I take those off, or do they need to be there to cover some kind of holes? Unfortunately, I looked the body over very quickly, so I haven't had much time to research these things without consulting everyone on the forum. If there is a difference, the cart is a 1999. Thanks for any help provided.
I just purchased a g16 and am needing a front plastic. Can you tell me where to look for one?
