Re: resistor group assembly
I have another question.
Is the item attached to the throttle a v-glide, MCOR or what? can i repair it or is it OK. there is a lot of play in the throttle. i can depress the pedal at least 1/2 way before i get any power to the wheels. can i check to see if it is working right? are there points that need cleaning inside? |

Re: resistor group assembly
i finally got time to check out the pot box ohms. when the throttle is closed i get 5.68k ohms but at the full open (full speed) position it has decreased to about 3.21 ohms.
i'm lost. does that indicate that i'm nuts or is there something wrong with the pot-box. the cart runs normal except pretty slow. electronics is not my strongest subject. |

Re: resistor group assembly
Yea it's supposed to be near 0... MCOR conversion kit is what you need.

Re: resistor group assembly
You can try to adjust it, Ive found that fixes 100% of the time. Ive never had to replace one of those units out.
I will agree with TD the MCOR is a much better system, just pricey on the conversion. |
