CC Help Please
I will try and get this right. I had a friend call me and explain the problem he is having with his CC. He has a 92 Club Car, electric. When the key is turned on with out pressing the accelerator he notices that the F/R switch gets hot, even glowing red hot. Let me know what else I need in order to help trouble shoot the problem. Sorry it is so vague. Thanks.

Re: CC Help Please
Please need more info on cart. With a cart of that age its hard to tell what has been done or changed by now? What is his cart a 36 volt or 48 volt, coil resisters, or solid state controller? Has he done any wiring or replaced batterys before this happened? Incorrect wiring could be cause problem or possibly solenoid is stuck in run position causing power all the time to contacts inside F&R control that are now burned and just barely making contact?
Need info so forum is not just guessing. |

Re: CC Help Please
Look under the seat and look for any obvious loose wires or connections, then take Old mec's advice.
