heres a pic of the commutator out of my cart. i was planning to just smooth by hand with sand paper but after cleaning it up i realized it really just needs to go to the LMS to get turned on a proper lathe. looks purdy rough!

ok, its fixed!

hit 18.8 on the gps for brief second with a less than full charge average speed went up about 1.5mph. reverse maxed out at 10.5mph. i'll try again tomorrow with a full charge!

At 10.5 in reverse thats fairly fast in comparison to 18.8 forward? Its over 1/2 but not faster than forward as your son said? Now if you want him to have full speed?????
