Cool Air Pressure on over size tires

My Tires are 25x10.50x12 The tire manufature is suggesting 5 PSI max. When I purchased the cart it had 30 PSI in the tires and it was ruff riding. I dropped it to 5 PSI the ride is good but the tire get flat spots from the load. Does any one have any suggestions on air pressure

The tire pressure doesnt have anything to do with flat spots. Its caused by the nylon or rayon cords changing shape and flattening out against a flat surface especially after its been hot out. I would stick with tire manufacurers recommendations. Some cart owners even go lower when they have stiff ride problems like you had before dropping pressure.

Five psi in your tires seems very low. Have you tried using 15-20 psi to see how it rides. If your tires are 6 ply they may have a max psi of 50. I don't know for sure but 6 ply truck tires are load range C with a max tire pressure of 50 psi. Double check the side wall to see what it says.

If the manufacture says 5 psi max, I wouldn't go much higher than the 10/12 combo you are trying.
It sounds like you have ATV tires and we never ran more than 10 psi in them for woods/trail riding. Most generally 6-8 psi.

Good Luck!
