Ok here's the short of it. Now reg customers of mine that ive known since a kid. Very nice people with big hearts and love to share :) Oh yeah stinkin rich too. But I guess when it comes time to give them a bill and watch them smile when the write me a cheque must have something to do with it. Now back to the charger, I opened it up and started testing and playing with my meter,it did charge but the gauge stayed at 2.5 amps? not sure why. Any ideas? It did come with a second charger but it does not come on either. Should I bypass the OBC and try that?

I did take the kids for a short ride tonight when I got home from work. It wasn't very quick. the charger was on all day but I'm guessing not a full charge.

You say the second charger doesn't come on either! Does it come on but only reaches 2.5 amps also? Also, take your meter and get the volt reading at each battery and then the entire pack. Post it here. Check the water level in each cell too. Remember, only distilled water if they need any, just above the plates.

I just worked thue a charging problem on a 1999 CC. My charger charged for 18 pluss hours and did not shut off so I shut it off. Tested all batteries. all redings were 8.45 or better. Rebooted OBC, and then drove a short distance and started the charge again the charge dropped down to 3 to 4 amp and shut off for a couple of seconds and turn back on I found this is nonmal. after about 4 more hours of charging the charger turned off. I drove the cart about 3 miles and charged it last night the charger shut off right. Good luck

Hey crabby , if U do not have a digital Volt meter , GET ONE.
It does not have to be expensive , but is a ad solute necessity for any electric cart owner.

Post battery pack, and each individual reading here :))

I think it's time for new batteries, and the batteries need to be OFF the charger for 12 hours to get a true reading
