Re: Removing Back up horn
You didn't say which model cart you have so here are two different ways depending on the model.
PDS cart F/R toggle switch on the dash beside the key. Pop the ribets out of the key plate at the bottom and put a ear plug in the black hole inside the dash. Right side looks like a round cyclinder. Are take duct tape and cover it. The reason I say this is because a PDS model cart uses the beeper when it needs to be check in diagnostic mode. If it's a flleet cart F/R is between your legs then it's under the seat on the f/R cam over on the passenger side. Looks the same as above under the little plastic housing where the rod is running to. You can disconnect this one if you like. It doesn't have the same capiablity as the PDS. I like the ear plug best since these are safety iteams for the cart.. |

Re: Removing Back up horn
Just pop the key switch plate and wrap some tape around it. You will barely hear it then.

Re: Removing Back up horn
I just put the cart in reverse & opened the seat, then looked for the device that was making all the noise & disconnected it. And like Spawn said, tape it up.

Re: Removing Back up horn
Don't unhook it. Plug it up with cotton and tape around it. It's a great safety/diagnosing feature(PDS). What if the cart is in reverse, somebody jumps on and hits the gas and slams in to something or someone?
Not a good idea |
