top performance out of stock motor
Last night I had an ephiany after drinking a few cold ones, disconnect all of the series coils and wire the motor straight to the full throttle wire coming off of my v glide. Is what I get out of the motor all I am going to get no matter what controller I buy, or is there more performace to be gained elsewhere? The thing will pop a wheelie btw. Top speed was somewhere around 17-19. I Oh, btw this is on 48v, motor is 36v

Re: top performance out of stock motor
You can get more than that, just add more voltage and alcohol

Re: top performance out of stock motor
it's hard holding the gps, a cold one, and trying to steer w/o falling off all at the same time. Seriously though, this is putting MAX amps/voltage to the motor correct? So if I want more than this I should probably look for a new motor too?
