Default Broken Rear spring & replacement

ok, I thouhgt for a while I was gonna be able to just sit back and read some coo lthreads of what people are doing to their carts... However, I was playing golf today and low and behold. My drivers side spring Broke. more money...I am asking for opinions on springs.. The course I play has some rough spots on it. So I am going to go heavy duty. Does anybody have an opinion on the 4 leaf H/D springs??? BTW, my cart is a 96 dcs 36v not lifted yet. stock tires.. I have also read if I buy this spring I will need new heavy duty u-bolts.. Is this true? Thanks again In advance... UUUUUUGH...

The HD U-bolts are longer, due to the thicker spring-pack on the Heavy-Duty Spring.Nothing else Heavy-Duty about them.So Yes,you will need to order them as well.

The HD 4 leaf springs make the cart ride like 1950 ford truck but stiffer

I have good results with these:
http://www.diygolfcart.com/EZGO-TXT-...p/spn-1018.htm

They are the 3 leaf version heavier springs. I use my carts on a farm - asphalt, gravel, and the occasional horse pasture. I went heavier because my carts have fold down seats, and almost always have feed or hay bales on them.
