Only other thing I can think of is it pays to shop around. It may be worth it to burn a little more gas if you find a better price in a near by city.

In my case I found free delivery and pickup of the cores.

Ask for them to give you a lifting strap (or whatever it's called). You may just install then leave them in place, but I've worn out my lifting strap from repeated use.

You ain't ever done with a buggy.

Agreed on the lifting strap. A very simple but effective and necessary tool. - RAY

Kellybell that is a great price I'm looking at 720 for the set plus tax. I don't think I can ship batteries and the shipping would be crazy a set being just under 400lbs

I agree on the lifting strap. I put new batteries in my dads after his were stolen with just good ole finger tips. Witch led to sore hands and back and needed miller lite to make it all better

Yeah, it was a good price. I agree with the lifting strap thing. I used a big scissors thingy to lift them out of the cart, then used a strap to get them in the car and out of the car. They are unweildy, but the strap is definetley the best tool for the job. They are $7 on ebay.......

I was too dumb to ask, but the strap came with my batts, and payed for itself.

As much as you're gonna spend, they should throw it in for free. Just ask.

I presume you mean seven 6V batteries for a 42V battery pack.

The Controller, Solenoid and Charger have to be compatible with the pack voltage.
The stock 36V motor will work well on 42V (or 48V), in fact it may run cooler.

Many aftermarket controllers will work with pack voltage from 36V to 48V.
Most solenoids are voltage specific, but the 48V Super-Duty Solenoid Scottyb sells (400A/1000A) also works from 36-48V. I've used the one I have at both 36V and 42V.
Chargers are most definitely voltage specific and there aren't many 42V chargers on the market. Fortunately, the DPI Accusense charger comes in 42V and is one of the best chargers on the market and is reasonably priced.
