Default Need help removing obc and rewiring.

I have a 2010 Precedent and I am trying to eliminate the obc. I have cut off the grey wire, cut and connected the black wire to battery negative, and I have read to cut the yellow wire and connect it to battery negative. Now the cart will not move. No solenoid click or any sound other than the reverse alarm.

Help!

What yellow wire? The procedure you seem to be reading is for a series DS car, not a Precedent. Hope you haven't damaged the controller by doing what you did. The correct procedure for your application is to remove the OBC and discard it. Jump the Red wire to the Blue wire in the six pin connector and leave the rest of them alone.

Your Club Car charger will not charge your cart with out the OBC. you will have to get a new charger, or your old charger will have to be modified

Did you disconnect the yellow wire from the negative? That will (did) cause a direct short at the MCOR microswitch when you pressed the pedal. If it is already disconnected, you may want to test the MCOR microswitch to make sure is not burned.

Well, turned the key on today and everything worked great.............for a while. I started bolting the cart back together and thought I would try it again and nothing. Tried another mcor.......still nothing.

I have a 2007 Precedent and am considering moving to a DPI charger. I've read several different procedures on how to bypass the OBC. I'd prefer to just remove it - and maybe go ahead and sell it. I've read a few posts that it just involves 2 wires and that the OBC isn't connected to anything else - my OBC has quite a few connections. I can't seem to find a specific write-up for my model, do you have one?
