How do I test a speed controller
If someone could tell me how to test a speed controller I would very much appreciate it. I am trying to bring back to life a Yamaha G8-E. I've had the motor, Club Cart (GE really) 2hp service and it works ok, the next thing on list list of things to make sure they are working is the controller. I've included a picture of it. I've also included a picture of the motor. TIA to anyone that helps me trouble shoot this project.

Re: How do I test a speed controller
This is the Yamaha section! It's not easy to test a controller out of a cart. You would need to set up a motor, throttle, wiring harness, batteries. Do it wrong and you can damage a working controller. Better to clean up and assemble everything in your cart and then test it.
