Accelerator cables melting
I have a Club Car gas 1994 and the inner casing of the cables keep melting. I use the cart mainly for driving the beaches. Is it possible to get a cable that will stand the heat better. Thanks Nickaway.

Re: Accelerator cables melting
Only time I ever melted cables was brake cables, tack welding lug studs in place (redneck fix) and the cables somehow became the ground I guess. That cart got new cables. |

Re: Accelerator cables melting
I agree with TPG, Ground the engine to the frame. Had same issue on Yamaha cart. Not grounded and Throttle cable would heat up and start melting
