Default 212cc in electric club car

Okay so I have a 1984 club car, 36v. Bought it trashed, but everything was there, put it back together and I am not pleased with the performance at all. (She has seen better days)

It will need new batteries soon and I've been comparing the cost of batteries (around 600-700$) to the 212cc harbor freight motor (99$) that I see some people converting with.

Looking for any information/tips on doing this. I understand I'll need to do some welding, find the right size sprocket and chain. I understand there will be no reverse and that's fine I would prefer to have it but not a huge deal.

What size sprocket would be ideal for this?
Chain size?
Is it best to fit under the seat with a tensioner or have it fixed above the rear axle?

Thank you in advance for all input.

Matmann, HBR told you everything you need. This section is for electric cars.
The clone section is for swapping gas engines into cars.....

Really, None of your links are helping guys. I asked a specific question about a specific thing I am not interested in searching threw old threads that for the most part do not pertain to what I'm asking. I was not aware I posted in the wrong section, I have a electric so I post in the electric hmmmm makes sense huh??

Even still, none of you could just ****** answer the simple questions that I asked? You couldn't just help someone out, you all had to make it way more difficult than it needed to be..
Have a good day, I won't be asking anymore questions on here so you few can relax.
