92 DS controller cart, how rare is it?

Rough old DS, $100.00, picked it up for a flip. After a closer look, this might be rare. Curtis controller, factory lights...

The following link/thread is about a 93 DS. I have a 92. In post 5, 6, and 7, CCFanatic and 93YellowClubCar talk about how rare the 93 is. Once again, I have a 92. Would love to know what someone who actually knows about this thinks, instead of the Mooncarter backhanded/dismissive comment...

With a 30th week of production, that would make it a very early controller cart. Following.

PS- I don't think those square cup holders are original. Mine are round.

Nothing backhanded or dismissive. I have two 92 club Cars and they are both controller carts. Look at the very first wiring diagram in this forum and it states 89-03 controller carts. Look in the stickies at the wiring diagram under CLUB CAR WIRING DIAGRAMS.

Just got off the phone with a technical adviser from Club Car. I called customer service and was transferred to Corporate tech support. I was looking for production numbers. The adviser, Mike Pearson, told me that Club Car doesn't release production numbers, but, I do in fact have a pretty rare cart. It seems that Club Car didn't start the solid state/controller cart offerings until late 1992. I told him of the wiring diagrams showing 88-89 era carts with controllers and he stated that was impossible because they did not start production until late 1992.

Does this amount to a hill of beans? No, it just sparked my interest in the answer. The only answer I have now is that I do have a pretty rare cart, and if Mooncarter's are factory, he has 2.

Would love it if other Club Car experts would chime in with thoughts...

And for the record, knee-jerk responses without knowledge, more often than not, come off as backhanded and dismissive.
