I wish Id put my Bandit motor money towards the Raptor. Probably would have been better spent. I understand that torque is pretty good with it too. Is that right?

Raptor is better than stock motor in both torque & speed (that's why it doesn't play nice with little stock controllers).

Wait! Big tires/lift is a total No-go for Raptor. That's a street motor.

This is very true.....but my primary use is on the street around the neighborhood, but then again if/when I get off the street, its on flat ground. but it goes like a banshee!! lol and in the 4 years since I built this cart its never failed me.

I say that because (when this exact scenario happened to me), customer said "no, this thing won't be used heavy at all, just at car shows". Found out it was in wash sand when it quit.

Happens all the time... Several scenarios come to mind. Most common is "I want to win the camp labor day race and pull a float in the Christmas parade".... with the same cart!? Yes, it's lifted with 25 inch tires and seats 6

YEP, I am sure its happened....but in both cases, as long as they had the information, and they made the choice to abuse their cart beyond its capabilities, their cart dying was no ones fault but their own.

Okay so lots of great info but can someone recap?
My cart has 12 inch rims with 20 inch tires and a 3 inch lift.
I simply want to run around 20mph on the street in my neighborhood. I take the cart on our neighborhood greenbelt trail which is dirt and rock and very small hills but mostly flat.

Ideally I would love to only have to replace my motor. The cart is a stock 36 volt Currently.
