94 medalist solenoid clicks wont run
First off,what a wonderful site. I have gotten many useful ideas and techniques from here and it is greatly appreciated. I was reading some diagnostics on checking the solenoid and read that the voltage across the 2 large terminals should be at 30 volts or higher before pressing the gas pedal. I am only getting between 4-6 volts. After I press the pedal and the solenoid clicks, it drops down to about a half volt. So it seems as though the solenoid is working, just not getting proper voltage to it. I am getting 37.2 volts from the batteries and I checked each one individually at 6.2 volts each. Anyone know why I am not getting proper voltage to the solenoid? Thanks Brian

Measuring from Pack - (neg) (black test lead (battery 6 - (neg) ) to the big terminal on the solenoid (red test lead) ?

37.6 volts. But from the positive light in the solenoid to the other big light on the solenoid is 6-8 volts.
