Default Golf cart sat, quit working

Hello! I have just gotten a used golf cart off a neighbor, he had it working in the fall, left it sit over the winter, and in the spring it does not run. It is a simple cart, nothing fancy. There are 6 of these 6 volt batteries, he says they are relatively new. I am a small engine man myself, gas engines, so this is all new to me. I have no idea what year or model # it is, if it will help i can look a little harder for it. I cleaned all the battery connections, and the power connections on the motor. I hooked a charger (6v) to each battery, with each one disconnected. They all pulled at the lowest amperage (don't know how to describe it better) my charger has an old gauge that goes from 2 amp to 10 amp, they stayed at 2 amp. Any help is appreciated, if i get it to work i will post it here. Thanks!

to BGW

There should be a serial number tag below the dash towards the middle of the cart. What does it say? It should begin with the letter A.

Hello Simplecart. Welcome to BGW.

You will need 2 things right off the bat. A voltage tester, and a charger for your cart.

Here are a few photos, it is a yamaha, a no go on the sticker. It must have worn off. I went over it a bit, and saw no stickers with any model info. Don't know if the photos will help or no
Edit, i have a voltage tester and charger at my disposal, point at the target and i will fire!

That's the ugliest Club Car I've ever seen!

I'm just kidding, I believe that is a G8. I thought you had a CC, I'm not sure where Yamaha puts their identifying stickers. A moderator will be along shortly to move this to the electric Yamaha section.

I believe Jakesnake may be correct about that being a G-8. There should be a serial number plate in the battery compartment. If you start at the seat hinge on the passenger side of the cart and look down a few inches - on the inside facing the batteries. If we are correct it should start off JF3... See if you can find it, let us know for sure what the serial number is and we can decode it to confirm model and year.
