I'm sorry this is wrong because there is more than one way to skin this cat and you two are wiring up different carts. Also, the top and bottom of that S shaped copper bar are electrically the same point as is the left and right side of the top flat bar.

The FN knob does not control the Reverse Speed slider, so if it is not plugged, it would only affect the Forward speed.

My bad. Mine was a coil cart I converted with your kit, figured he had the same diagram as me, which doesn't have B+ going to the contractor.

I tried the FN1 speed dial tonight with no luck. I tried the speed dial turned all the way clockwise and again all the way counterclockwise with no effect in the really really anemic forward speed.

What other info would you need from me to help diagnose this issue?

Here is the wiring diagram I used. I believe I have things wired as the diagram. Please let me know what you think.

I found a couple of images on google. Not sure if they apply to my cart.

(NOT MINE) The contactor below is wired like mine with only the A1 in the pic being different. Would that have any effect on my cart?

(NOT MINE) Best I can tell... I am wired just like this diagram. Again... not sure if it really applies here...

Here is my contactor as wired using the diagram in the post above....

Thanks again for the help!!

The diagram you got with the kit is correct. Do not deviate from the diagram.
Check the throttle signal ( green wire) it should be close to 0-5v
Can you do that?

Yes sir... I can do that.

On the green wire from the pedal that is plugged in to terminal J5 on the controller.... At WOT I have 4.88 volts.

Is that within an acceptable range?

Perfect high signal, does it go near 0 when the pedal is up?

If you have a wire for reduced reverse speed plugged into J1 blue disconnect it and see if that speeds the cart up. If no, connect the laptop and increase reverse speed to 100%. Does that change the cart's forward speed?

It does bottom out to zero when up.

The wire for 1/2 speed is disconnected. That seemed to make a huge difference. Not sure if it's a 100% but extremely better in forward. I'll hook the laptop to it tomorrow and increase the reverse speed.

How do you like the new foot pedal from Scotty B. Be considering going this route with my upgrade.
