Club Car Series Cart Speed
Right now, the top speed on a straight away is 14mph. Is this the top end speed on a series Cart or can the Cart possibly be set to code 3? Downhill it flies and uphill torque isn’t good, but I’ve owned several IQ carts that just needed the controller programmed to code 4. I’m just not familiar with the series Cart. Thanks for any insight.

Re: Club Car Series Cart Speed
Don't let it fly downhill, you'll over rev and ruin the motor. There's nothing to keep the rpms in check like an IQ cart. Only your right foot does that.
14 sounds about right for top speed. What year is your cart and what voltage do you have? |

Re: Club Car Series Cart Speed
Series carts do not have speed codes like sepex carts.

Re: Club Car Series Cart Speed
No. The stock controller may be a limiting factor - especially if it has bigger tires or rear seat. The Admiral A1 motor will increase both torque and speed but, you should also upgrade the speed control, solenoid, cables, and F&R for reliable operation.
