Default Wheel/tire suggestions for Western/Marathon

My wife wants to keep this 1992 Western 400 2+2 we got from our neighbors, so I'm going to throw a bunch of money at it!

Here's a link to pics:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...wt?usp=sharing

I just ordered rear heavy duty leafs, as the back end is sagging slightly from the years, and weight.

It's going to have a lithium battery pack, upgraded controller, solenoid, F/R contactors, and a D&D motor, so it should be quick.

I've been told the largest tires I can fit are 20", with stock height.
So, my question is:

I'd like to have good ride quality, without being bouncy. The current tires are 18.5 x 8.5 x 8. The sidewall is huge, and they are bouncy. Since I'm going to try and get the speed up to 25, I'd like lower profile tires, but not so much that they compromise ride quality.

The application is street only, so smoothness and quietness are ideal.

Anyone having tried different setups have a recommendation?

look for either a set of 12" or 14" wheels and run 205's that will get you where you want to be.

Would 215/50/12 fit? That's slightly under 20.5".

Also, I'm seeing MANY different wheels available that just say they fit EZ-GO.

Do I need to worry about offset, or all they all pretty much standard?

Thanks!

pretty much standard. 3+4 is most common.

Thanks for the help.

Two last questions:

I know it's just a guesstimate, but, with stock gearing, these wheels, and a very good power system (motor, batt's, etc) what is the rough top speed I can expect?

What is the approximate top speed increase if I lifted 3" and went to 22"?

Thanks!

BTW, other than "golfcarttiresupply" and similar, are there any non-obvious wheel suppliers I may have missed?
They all seem to carry the same stuff, which is good, but not exactly what I'm looking for.
