Cleaning/refurb a motor
Got a cart that went thru some water, now the motor is making more noise than normal, is there a way I can fix this by cleaning or refurbishing the motor?
If so, how? Thanks |

Re: Cleaning/refurb a motor
Need to pull it apart and assess the situation. Is it a bearing noise, like a high pitch whine?

Re: Cleaning/refurb a motor
I’d first verify that the noise is definitely coming from the motor. Then I’d pull it off and see what’s going on in there. There is a few threads on how to pull the armature out and get it back in.
