Re: solenoid ?
tdog, The serial # on a Carryall is the same as a Club Car. The first 2 digits after the letter(s) is the year. ie: FG 9043.... is a 1990..... The automotive solenoid may not work for long as they are momentary switches and the GC uses an extended time contact. There is a micro or two in the little black box at the end of the gas peddle rod. check that they are working .....One works on pos and the other on neg current... both need to be operating ....they are simple on/off switches.

Re: solenoid ?
push the pedal and tap on the solenoid, you might need a new one or you might have a loose connection leading up to it.
Also, put the rear wheels up on jackstands when checking it. |

Re: solenoid ?
I don't think the solenoid will cure your charging problem. might need to pick up a voltage regulator while you are out if the battery has checked OK.

Re: solenoid ?
Start by taking a voltage reading of the battery with nothing on.
Start the cart (on stands) and run up to governed speed, Check voltage again, it should increase, if not replace V/R. |
