Default Handle on the F&R Switch

Great site fellows. My question is how do you get the handle off the switch on a club car? I am removing the body for paint and cannot seem to get the handle off.

Thanks Bit

There is a phillips head screw in the handle at the pivot point It can be tough to get out depending on the age and condition of the cart.....

They can rust solid.....in which case you could drill and then tap a new fastener.

Soak it down good with some PB blaster and use an impact driver on it.
replace it with a stainless screw when it goes back together.

Never seize on all fasteners when you reassemble will save you the next time you take it apart.
