Default Keep cooking the waters out of my batteries

So I have a 2004 Club Car DS 48v with batteries that are less than a year old...twice now I noticed a weird smell in my garage so I went over to my golf cart and the batteries were hot and spitting water out of the caps....

I immediately pulled the charger and I took all the caps off the batteries and they were bone dry.

The batteries are USA Brute Force
The charger is the Yewy charger

It never used to do this but I assume the charger isn’t shutting off

Any advice is appreciated. At this point I’m paranoid about charging my cart

Refill the water to cover the plates. Check the voltage. Maybe run the cart around the block once and start a charge cycle while monitoring the voltage. The charger should shut off between 60-65v

Sounds like it's time for a new charger.

Let me revise this.

In the course of them spitting all of the water out they also lost a lot of acid. Now the solution is so weak the charger can't complete the charge so it won't shut off. Check the specific gravity of your acid solution.

It may be. In some cases where older batteries were not able to reach the 60v cut-off point for this charger, the charger never got the signal to shut off.

The batteries and charger are only like a year old. Anyone know if the Yewy chargers have a warranty?
