Default Tail Lights on a Precedent that doesn't have them now

I looked for this answer here but wasn't lucky finding it.

I want to add tail lights to my 2004 Precedent (that doesn't have them now) and found "replacement" tail lights on Amazon. My question is whether the wiring harness is already there in place for the tail lights, or will I need to buy/make one.

Thanks for your help.

Do you have a voltage reducer already? Do you have headlights, horn or anything? Are you planning to add tail lights only or other lights and accessories also?

There are a number of answers to your original question and these answers will tell us what is the best advice to give.

I have headlights, but no tail lights or other accessories. Hope this helps! Thank you for your reply. Rick

PS Oops, I didn't read your reply closely enough. I'd like to add a rearward and possibly forward facing LED light bar. We use this cart running around our lake property doing things, and area lights would be helpful. All accessories would be LED, just FYI.

Also, if you go to amazon.com/ and add "gp/product/B07NM7QTDZ", you can see the lights I'm thinking about. The forum won't let me post links just yet.

We don't know if the wiring is there for tail lights or not. We can say it's there, but then we really don't know because we can't see your cart.
You're the only one who can get under the cart and Look and see if there is wiring already there for tail lights.
If it is, there should be a 3 pin plug tucked somewhere back in the body behind or above the wheel well arch on each side.

I had a look at your link. You will be able to add them, but as to how much work is involved depends on things like if you have a voltage reducer already and if you have a light harness already.

It is not difficult to wire these up even if you don't have a harness; you can always run your own wires. They are designed to run on 12V (it says so in the answers to the questions on that web page) so you will need to either have an existing voltage reducer or be prepared to fit one. Your light bars will also run off the 12V from the reducer.

Unless someone removed it, the 2004 Precedent has a factory "bucket harness" for lights.

If you don't have one, purchase one from revolutiongolfcars.com as well as a plug-and-play voltage converter for your Precedent.

If You lift the seat and look at the top back corners, you should see the rear light harness in each side on the top going towards the back of the cart.
