Default B.I.G Man LSV

Anyone know anything about a Barton Investment Group Manufacturers low speed vehicle? A friend of mine if looking at purchasing a 2009 48v but there is very little information on them. Controllers reliable? Parts avail of something needs to be fixed. The cart is for sale for $2400 but needs batteries. That seem like a fair price?

Thank you!

Ive worked on a whole bunch of them,
Many were used on the Las Vegas Strip, You know the "rent me"

They are very basic and easy to work on, just ugly.

I know they use to have a website, but haven't looked for any parts in a number of years.

Were/are they pretty reliable? Is the the controller something that is replaceable if needed (at able to be adapted to a readily avail controller) if it dies.

Hate to hijack this old post but I can’t send a private message to you GOLF Cart Guy. I’m trying to get some info on one of these that I bought that sat for 7 years. After unsticking brushes in motor and them moving properly. Cart only had 70 hours and sat in a garage for 7+ years.
I’m getting full voltage across solenoid no matter key switch on or off. Full 50+ volts on all post on ALLTRAX 4865AXE controller. Even across solenoid but not hearing a solenoid click…
Please get with me GOLF CART GUY or anyone who’d like to chime in. This is the only post on Google with any info on these things. B.I.G Man LSV is the name. White Rodgers 586-120111 solenoid, controller is a AXE4865 650 amp
Also has a Albright 12v DC88 reversing contactor.

Sounds like a welded main contactor to start with...

Same thing I was thinking. I didn’t have a white Rodgers solenoid. But I did have a 48v Albright SW80-156 which is only 125a compared to the original white Rodgers that’s 200 amp….. Swapped them out and getting no change in scenario.

You can just bench test the contactor first, make sure it's not welded before installing.

Are you referring to the Albright DC88 reversing contactor or the white Rodgers solenoid?
