Default Help!! Ez-go txt 6 seater

Hi this is my 1st thread, with that I apologize for my ignorance. I traded for this 6 seat cart and the previous owner has little to no knowledge on this vehicle. I've done my due diligence however have fallen short only because things seem askew. The badge which is in the passenger side glove box..states this is a 96 and also a 36 volt. It doesn't appear to me to be neither but if I'm wrong please advise. If anyone has any info about the cart I would love to have as well I need a wiring diagram and a service/owners manual and any other knowledge if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

Looks like factory lights also although the front "cyclops" head light is missing.

The rear seat should flip over backwards (the whole thing, backrest and all) to reveal access to the bag well.

If you're going to rehab that thing now would be the time to convert to 48v. The controller is likely 24-36 volt but possible it is 36-48 volt. There should be a label on the end of it but you'll have to take it out to see it.

Likely not a factory lift either.

Since you don't have a charger and no batteries, go 48v lithium. You'll be happy you did.

Ok thanks everyone. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for this and a 48 volt ez-go? What's the extra plug on the driver rear that's perpendicular to the charger vplug

Diagram will depend on your plan forward. If the controller is good and can be used on 48 volts you can use the standard series cart wiring diagram. If you are going to change everything out you have a clean slate. Might even want to consider AC

Yes I checked the controller and it is indeed a 36-48 volt. So I'm thinking I'll go 48volt DC due mostly to cost effectiveness, however still open to any other knowledge and/or advice.

Very cool cart! I wonder if there is a way to test the controller? You know, before you move forward with all the expensive goodies.

Series controller is fairly simple. It needs power on pin 1, throttle on 2 and 3, pack positive and negative. Apply throttle and check the outputs.
