Default Clicking noise

hello all,
i got a 2005 ezgo with robin engine, it is making a clicking noise (sounds like a lifter clicking or a valve tapping) but it sounds like it is coming from drive train somewhere i can put in neutral and rev it but i don't here the clicking i might here a little of it...but seems like when i put torque or put in gear it a steady clicking ,,, what are your thoughts ? i am new to this , thanks tim

I would say the shifting lever/cable is out of adjustment. Not sure if your cart has the 2 cable setup or the one cable setup since you negleted to say what model it is. there are threads and manuals that tell about adjustment in the tech section.
