Default Any pointers on installing a stereo on my 2001 DS?

I bought this light / horn kit from AACO GOLF CARTS AND PARTS in Florida and I planned on installing this week:

Here is what they say about the light kit:

1.Front lights with marker lights

2.Rear TAIL LIGHTS

These lights are 3 wired for turn signals if you want to add them later

3.Attaching hardware for lights

4.Harness that plugs directly into these lights for easy installation

5. 12 volt RELAY

6. Chrome Horn with Floor button( there is a place in the harness for the horn and button)

7. Installation instructions

8. Templets for a clean cut

9. Free on/off switch w/purchase of this kit

10. For 12 volt systems, see our other auctions for 36-48 volt systems

11. ALWAYS IN STOCK- CAN BE PICKED UP AT OUR STORE LOCATION

12. We will ship these outside the lower 48 states for an additional charge

13. UPS ground shipping inside the lower 48 states

14. Satisfaction is a must- returns in 7 days accepted-no shipping refunds

15. Though these look great they are not direct factory replacements and will not fit in the holes you already have cut- MEASURE when in doubt-restocking fees may apply

It comes with a toggle switch and I have seen folks mentioning to get a good one so you won't have to replace it a lot. Any suggestions there would be appreciated as well.

I recently put in the dash inserts instead of a full dash. Now I am wondering if that was the best move, but I plan to put a cheaper (although marine) in-dash unit in when I do the lights. To avoid skipping issues I'm going with a USB / SD unit with auxiliary for Sirius. I want to put it in the left side dash as opposed to roof. I also got some marine speakers 5.25 that I plan on putting under the seat on the front side.

I know there are some real pros on this board so please let me know anything I should consider first.

Make sure that your charger and battery are in top shape.

Link to the radio that you are installing?

Mostly I'm trying to think of the best place to mount the speakers.
