Default 99 txt motor issue

I was running around with the wife off road all of a sudden boom nothing. I now it got really hot and I will have to check compression and need to change piston rings, got oil in the air box. I will have to proably have to do a valve adjustment now again.


any insight would be great..

Oil in air box is usually caused by overfull oil sucking up from crankcase thru the vent tube. Were you climbing hills?

.... Also caused by excessive blow by. I dunno if a valve adjustment is gonna fix this one.

I'm with scottyb here... If you were just toolin' along and the breather is fillin with oil, I'm guessin major ring blow by... May be time to overhaul...

I have a 7.5 lift on my cart i am wondering what size or a picture is needed to for a z bracket to level the motor.

Cj, anything above 6" lift is a concern. Drop the front of the motor mount a couple of inches... 2 or 3 Then change the oil & put in the exact amount the manufacture says it holds and when it settles....(overnight) then use a file to remark the dipstick

7.5 lift... yep that's why oil in the air box.

don't forget that half inch! definitely a guy

not 7; 7.5

did this just start happening (and if so, did you just put the lift in)? or, has everything been kosher, and problem just popped up?
