Jake's Lift without Grease Fittings
When I bought my 2007 gas TXT it already had a Jake's 5" lift. It has no grease fittings in the spindles, so I have a couple questions:
What type bushing is in the spindle to (supposedly) make it lifetime lubed? Has anyone tried to put in grease fittings, and what were the results? Thank you. |

Re: Jake's Lift without Grease Fittings
it would not be difficult at all to add zerks. just make sure there is nothing you're going to hit on the other side of the wall your drilling, drill the hole, tap it, screw in a zerk, and make sure you have no drilling shards left on the inside.
just be aware that any dripping grease is going to drop onto your rims/tires and be thrown. kinda like when you lube your bicycle chain really, really, really well, and you end up with an oil stripe up your leg and back |
