Default Battery Break In Question

Looking at the battery break in document listed in the Sticky portion and got a little confused. I understand that you need to charge the batteries fully the first time and then run them down to around 50%. My question is do you need to do this procedure of charging completely and running down to 50% 11-12 times in a row before you just start charging the batteries every time you park the cart?

Secondly, what if it takes several days to run the cart to the 50% mark. Do you not charge the batteries until they get to the 50% mark the first 11-12 times no matter how long it takes to run them down? I am installing one of the Datel battery meters so theoretically I should be able to know when my batteries hit the 50% mark.

Thanks,
Thomas

Actually you should take it a little easy on a new set and use 80% capacity as a mark to recharge. Any small discharge and recharge will do. The point being made is not to deeply discharge the batteries especially when new. FYI= Trojan says their batteries keep gaining strength up to 150 cycles.

Hope this helps

Always , after riding the cart , just plug it back up ,
always leave it on charger when not using.
And allow the charger to complete charge cycle and turn itself off .
