Solenoid meltdown
Back on the 9th of June I posted a problem which turned out to be a bad solenoid. I replaced the solenoid as recommended.
Today the replacement that I put in smoked and then melted the large post. The post fell off of the solenoid along with the white wire that is attached to the post. This cart has been used daily since I replaced the solenoid without any problems. I am assuming that there is something else wrong to cause this meltdown but do not know where to start looking. Appreciate any help. Thanks |

Re: Solenoid meltdown
Thanks for the kind reply.
The solenoid was from another CC. We have two old resistor carts that we use for spares. Guess I will put another one in and hope for the best. |

Re: Solenoid meltdown
Are you using 36v solenoids in 48v carts?
