There are several precedent factory bodies on ebay shipped for around $400 (minus the black trim). In fact once the dealer delivers mine and I look over the factory blue I'm seriously considering ordering the cayenne orange body!

I'm a Precedent man myself. I love them. However there is one key detail that truly does matter to you.... Towing.... The entire back of the car is plastic with nowhere to attach a trailer hitch that will tow that much weight. I'd have to stick with the 98 DS on this deal for the simple fact that it's a whole lot easier to rig up a good strong hitch.

I agree with Tahoe, 98 DS would be a better option if towing is important.
