the batteries may not be the problem but those #,s for an 8 volt battery under any sort of load condition indicate a battery that i would take a closer look at.......but i guess whats more important is how are they recovering and how fast......................................

Yes, the 5 batteries are 5 - 7 years old and I will be getting a new set next spring. I am leaving the cart for the winter again(at the campground) the end of this month.
I usually charge it up and unhook 1st and last battery cable and cover and tarp for winter(am in south New Jersey shore area).and pray all is good.

Any recomendations on where to get the new potentiometer - and what I will need to know when ordering a new one. I do know that mine is mounted underneath, unlike a friend (who has a 97) that is mounted under the seat.
I will get a new one and next year replace someday....

At $300 for the complete set up - I may be looking used!

I guess even though I am a '95 according to my serial number my unit looks more like a '96
