Lubricate stiff FNR switch contacts?
Ive seen some carts that have a super stiff fnr switch, sometimes to the point of feeling like the lever will break. Mine is ok, just slightly stiff, probably because its new. Anyway, i was wondering if it was a good idea to keep a film of dielectric grease or just an all purpose lubricant on the contacts of the fnr as a part of routine maintainence. Anyone do this?

I used CRC spray silicone on mine. It now moves with 1 finger! The dielectric rating is in kilo volts. It was never so tight that I thought it would break, but it was tight!

Re: Lubricate stiff FNR switch contacts?
ok good. atleast now i know its done without causing problems. thats my main concern. The way i figure it, if they get so dry and begin to have so much friction, the grinding would prematurely wear off copper contact material. Thanks guys.
