Re: Precedent Hunting Buggies - Lets see pics!
On the regen motors, I burnt my stock motor up crawling thru hog rootings. never stalled it just had to go slow and crawl thru them and it was work.
However it's my understanding that the regen motor is better for crawling at a slow pace. That's why I upgrade my motor it's still regen but a much more powerful than stock, and it's from D&D. |

Re: Precedent Hunting Buggies - Lets see pics!
I have a precedent changed over to series, with 700 amp controller, HD solinoid, GE the beast motor and 4-12 volt batteries. it also has the 2 speed rearend. For off roading it will go anywhere the tires will take me. I got in some slippery stuff the other evening, and the locking differential finally got used. i was able to get out of it while staying in low gear. as far as climbing. it will climb ditches, and hills just like my 250 atv. my only gripe is battery storage. I need more lead. so after jan I will be changing from 4-12 volts to more batteries.
would post pics but cant figure out how yet. |
