Default 1994 club car super slow

I recently purchased a 36 volt 1994 club car and noticed right way that HHS potentiometer was loose. When I accelerated it would of course move and I wasn't getting full contact... So I fixed that and it sped up some but not near as fast as what I'm used to ., I clocked it top speed at eleven mph.. Is that normal speed for this cart? If not what are some other things I could check on the cart to maybe speed it up? Thanks!

Open the V-glide and verify that the wiper is reaching the top terminal at full throttle. 11-14mph is normal .. tire inflation, alignment, accessories, and brake adjustments play into roll resistance.
