Default If you had a $100 and

wanted to do one performance mod, what is the best bang for your buck.

Clutch spring, Carb jet, etc?

thanks,
C

Spring, resurface or the other spring... i was reading the "performance" mod section. If Clutch is the way to go, whats the best part of that, or just do it all?
thanks,

I can't vouch for the mods as I haven't done them yet, but I'm thinking about buying the power kit for the driven clutch (http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-car-power-kit.html and 200 RPM spring (http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...g-200-rpm.html and see how those two do. I figured I could do the clutch resurface if those mods weren't enough. I still haven't lifted my cart, so I may hold off on the springs until that's done.

Do you know if they install the 200 rpm spring for you if you don't do the resurfacing?
thanks,
C

Not sure... I've only ordered a few parts from them so far. I'm sure they would if you sent them the clutch but you could probably handle it. I just recently took my drive clutch off and replaced the weights and buttons and it wasn't difficult at all as long as you have the right tools.

My cart is just a dog going up hills. I am hoping the new springs will help put the "pep" back in the ole girl! LOL

You could call Cart Parts Plus and get some insights from them. I hear the owner is really helpful when called. If you put the springs in, let me know the results because I've been thinking about buying them for a few weeks now.
