'79 G1 Project - Before & After Pic's
Well, the customization of my '79 G1 has been a longer than expected project, but I'm very pleased how it turned out. She looks nothing like what I started with.
Many thanks go out to those on this board who answered my numerous questions! The only thing left to do is to install the rear seat seat-belts and armrests. Now it's time to just enjoy driving her around the campsite. Thanks again! |

Very nice looking G1. Do you know the offset on the rims? 2-5? 3-4?

Wow great looking G1! The old yamahauler, did you sell the body or get cash for the aluminum. Had one at the course I worked at many years back.

Re: '79 G1 Project - Before & After Pic's
Thanks Sho305! I sold the body to a guy who was going to use it on his farm. I found the body that's on the buggy currently on Craigslist from someone who just wanted it off his property. Yup, got it for free. :) Took two weeks of sanding down three coats of paint, then sprayed it with Duplicolor's Paint Shop paint on fathers day. I'm glad she's done.
