Re: The rebuild begins...1992 Club Car DS upgrade
I like it, red and black is what I'm more than likely going to go with on my cart too. I've been thinking of making it sort of match my F-150 since they're the vehicles I use the most and both of the vehicles have a bed on them.

Re: The rebuild begins...1992 Club Car DS upgrade
The camera flash tends to make the cart body appear a little 'orangish', but it is really a nice red color.
I still need to do some more work, but it's finally looking like a cart again! |

Re: The rebuild begins...1992 Club Car DS upgrade
The weather was nice today, in the mid '40s for February. I took some pics of the finished cart.

Re: The rebuild begins...1992 Club Car DS upgrade
I cruised around the neighborhood a few blocks. The cart appears to be quite a bit faster. I won't know if the torque is better until I can find some hills to climb.
Well, for now, I think that I am done, until I need to replace the (6) 6V batteries. I will then upgrade to 48V, and purchase a bigger solenoid and charger from Scottyb. |

This is the first time I've seen your build Xact1- nice job!
Gotta love the CC DS, it's a shame they quit making them... |

Re: The rebuild begins...1992 Club Car DS upgrade
Jakesnake27, thanks for the kind words. These carts are addicting. I just picked up my first gas cart, a 199 ds for the wife. Lots of work to do on that one...
