Re: taylor-dunn pmc-2004 motor controller
I don't know diddly squat about Taylor-Dunn carts, but here is a page from the Curtis 1204 manual that explains the wiring.
On the EZGO carts that used a 1204 controller, the one labeled KSI (Key Switch & Interlocks) had B+ on it when Keyswitch was ON and F/R selector was in either F or R. (Came from "C" terminal on the pedal microswitch.) The throttle connected to the other two small ones. 0-5k is standard 5k-0 is optional 0-5V is optional I don't think the EZGO ITS was used with a Curtis 1204 controller. |

Re: taylor-dunn pmc-2004 motor controller
HI john the taylor-dunn motor controller is a curtis controller, taylor-dunn put there name on it . i would say curtis built it for taylor-dunn to there spec. now here is what i have only two terminals instead of three, one terminal top one KSI-- lower one #2. what goes to #2 terminal some type of throttle control foot switch such as a inductive throttle sensor, that i donot know anything about. the rest of the controller is the same------thanks for the input---dave

Re: taylor-dunn pmc-2004 motor controller
Sounds like it is the 0-5V option, shown here with a Curtis Electronic Throttle.
I don't know if an ITS could be rigged up to work with it, but if you rigged up a pot with a separate power source to put out 0-5V, it might work. You can download the Curtis 1204/1205 manual on the Curtis website. |
