Converter Issues...
Thank you all in advance for the hep I may receive. Here is my story.
Purchased a 30 amp ,36/48-12volt converter. Hooked up per instructions included. Red to Pos. on #1 Battery. Black to Neg. on #6 Battery. Yellow to Access. post on switch which is 36 Volts. Yellow is supposed to activate Converter. Testing the green coming from Converter which is supposed to read 12 Volts only will read 36 Volts. Thinking that this converter was defective I returned it and received another just like it. Once again could only get 36 Volts from the green feed wire. There is a vague reference to a relay being used in older carts. It gives you no idea to where or what kind of relay. It is a shame to me that part suppliers sell such Foreign junk in the first place. Any one who has had a similar experience your information will be very much appreciated. Thank you. |

Re: Converter Issues...
It would help if we could ID your piece of junk.
