If you are going to lock up the rear end and due not use the governor I would remove the internal parts if you do not it cause some problems.
This is what may happen

Good luck

After doing quite a bit of searching, I really think you are out of luck for any aftermarket limited slip for your G1. There have been some threads about permanently locking the differential by welding, but I don't think you would be happy with it as it is quite unforgiving when making any kind of a turn. You could give Plowmans a call to "pick his brain" on what might be possible. - RAY

Do you think the governor parts did that? or maybe flipping the gears around to lock the rear?

in the rear end the weights total missing when i opened it up, it looked like no one had ever opened casing and the rear end was not locked! the governor was not attached to any thing when I got it. lots of metal chunks and shaving inside of casing large scare marks on inside casings. If I get out to garage today will take pitchers.

gear swap location
I may have not replaced gears in the same order as removed to inspect
for damage inside, none found

I still thing the weight caused this problem nothing else in casing missing.

i thought from a different post that you had swapped the gears around to lock the rear up, before this had happened.
